Three visions from the world of Mahmoud Said (1897–1964), a founder of Egyptian modern art: a woman in an eye-catching headscarf on a sofa, a woman in a sky-blue dress by the sea in Alexandria, a third in near-mystical stillness. Rasha Ragab asked whether she could embody them, walk them out of the canvas and into the rooms where they slept at night.

Her teacher Ahmed Fouad Selim gave her books and tapes on performance and its history in 2007; the first performance took place in Cairo in 2008.
